      RPSC is not that much predictive as UPSC is but it usually follows a definite pattern regarding to area of question. Some topics from every subject are very dear to RPSC. Going through RPSC's previous years papers and other PSU or UPSC papers may be beneficial but as I said it isn't that much predictive regarding to direct nature of the question....my analysis of year 2012's RAS prelims paper may help you....(Here is the Link - http://ras2013.blogspot.in/2013/07/ras-pre-2012-general-knowledge-general.html)

      1959 में नवगठित राजस्थान में कुल 25 जिले बनाए गए जिनहे 5 संभागों- जयपुर, जोधपुर, उदयपुर, बीकानेर व कोटा में विभाजित किया गया। राज्य पुनर्गठन आयोग की सिफारिश पर 1 नवंबर, 1956 को राज्य का पुनर्गठन किया गया तथा अजमेर-मेरवाडऋा क्षेत्र भी राजस्थान में मिला दिया गया एवं राज्य का वर्तमान स्वरुप अस्तित्व में आया। अजमेर राजस्थान का 26वां जिला बना। अप्रेल, 1962 में सुखडिऋया सरकार ने संभागीय व्यवस्था को समाप्त कर दिया। धौलपुर 1987 में 27वां जिला बना। 26 जनवरी, 1987 को हरिदेव जोशी सरकार ने राज्य को 6 संभगों - जयपुर, जोधपुर, उदयपुर, बीकानेर, कोटा व अजमेर में बांटकर पुनः संभागीय व्यवस्था कायम की।
